RAHI

Jonathan Rahi, often referred to as Rahi, is a seasoned recording engineer, producer, studio operator, and music industry professional with a diverse portfolio of work spanning both independent and major projects.

Rahi began his music career at the age of 15, recording his first EP at MDDN Studios, owned by the Madden brothers of Good Charlotte. This early opportunity opened his eyes to the potential of a full-time career in music beyond just being in a band.

After graduating high school in Las Vegas, he moved to New York State to attend Syracuse University. He was admitted to the highly selective Bandier Program for Recording and Entertainment Industries. The program combines the study of music business, media, marketing, and entrepreneurship with hands-on, industry-facing experiences to prepare students for successful careers in the music industry. This led to internships including First Access Entertainment in London, as well as A&R internships with Atlantic Records in Los Angeles, and 300 Entertainment in New York City.

 

His engineering career began at Studio A in Las Vegas, where he advanced from intern to assistant engineer after a rigorous 9-month internship. He remained with the studio until August 2021, refining his skills and gaining invaluable industry experience.

After an in-house engineer stint in Miami during 2022, Rahi relocated back to Las Vegas to pursue a full time career in production and engineering. Since then, Rahi has worked as a freelance engineer at multiple studios across Las Vegas. His freelance work includes collaborations with notable clients such as Spotify, Warner Chappelle, Pulse, and vegas.com.

 

His expertise has taken him to some of the world’s most renowned studios, including American Songs and 302 Pulse in Burbank, The Hideout in Las Vegas, Spotify Studios in downtown Los Angeles, and Abbey Road Studios in London.
