AUX IN, VIBES UP: A Recap of Junxion Søund’s Latest Open Aux

There’s something different in the air when it’s Open Aux night at Junxion Søund. The lights feel warmer. The conversations go deeper. And the speakers? They hit just a little harder.

But this last one? It leveled up.

For the first time, we introduced a live contest format—adding stakes, momentum, and that friendly dose of pressure to an already electric space. Artists came with intent. The room was packed, front to back. Everyone had something to prove—or something to share—and that energy translated directly into the music.

What made this night special wasn’t just the competition. It was how personal it felt. The crowd didn’t just hear tracks—they responded to them. Live feedback. Real reactions. That back-and-forth between artist and audience that makes Open Aux what it is: a community built on creativity, courage, and connection.

Honorable Mentions — Based on the Vibes, the Feels, and the Facts

  • Remedi brought the kind of vibes that hit straight to the chest. The bars were sharp, the sonics matched the energy, and her delivery? Chills. Her name really says it all—a raw remedi for whatever you walked in with. No puns. Just real presence.

  • Baby Moon is one of those rare, juxtaposition artists—soft but it slaps. Gentle but impactful. The production feels dreamy and melodic, but the bounce is still there. It pulls you in the second it starts. Truly unique.

  • TatumTheDreamer what can I even say that hasn’t already been said about this man? Tatum is damn near too talented. His vocals alone would carry him, but the songs he played this time? Deep. Layered. Honest. He just keeps revealing more, and we’re lucky to witness it.

  • Jerrytheblack flipped the script and gave us something totally outside his usual sound—and still made it hit. It’s wild how he knows exactly where to sit in a track. The tone, the rhythm, the feeling—it’s always locked in. It was fun, it was fresh, and it was 100% Jerry.

  • Finesse.Shane listen… Shane brought unforeseen energy. Dancing on couches, turning the room up, putting a stamp on the night. He’s young, free, and clearly here to rage. The music was solid, but the performance? That’s what made people stop and pay attention.

And the Winner? Ayaka Taylorr

Ayaka stepped in with something special. Her tracks were smooth, soulful, and fully-formed. There was vulnerability in the lyrics but confidence in the delivery—a balance that’s hard to find. The crowd locked in with her from the first note, and by the end, it was clear: she earned that win. No question.

Ayaka Taylor Las Vegas Artist

This wasn’t just an event—it was a reset. A reminder that Las Vegas music artists are evolving. That the city has range, and voice, and depth. And that Junxion Søund is the place where those voices meet. The new contest format brought clarity: this isn’t just about passing the aux. It’s about owning it.

From production value to crowd curation to playback fidelity, this is what a professional Las Vegas recording studio can and should be doing—building platforms, not just offering gear.

So if you missed it? Don’t miss the next one this week July 24th. The aux belongs to the brave—and the brave are pulling up to Junxion. RSVP HERE.
