Cancellation Policy

This addendum applies to any client (“Renter”) booking a room that includes DJ equipment (“Equipment”) at Junxion Søund (“Owner”). It supplements (and does not replace) Junxion Søund’s standard booking policies. By booking or using the Equipment, Renter agrees to the following: 1) Proper Use Renter will operate Equipment only as intended for normal DJ performance/studio use. Renter will not: open, modify, tamper with, or attempt to repair Equipment; enter service/engineering modes; install or load unauthorized firmware/software; force connections or improperly unplug/rewire cables; apply excessive force to jog wheels, knobs, faders, screens, or buttons; place liquids/food near Equipment; or move/remove Equipment from its designated in-room location. If unsure about setup or operation, Renter must request staff assistance before proceeding. 2) Responsibility for Damage Renter is financially responsible for any loss or damage to Equipment or studio property occurring during the booking, including damage caused by Renter’s guests, misuse, negligence, unsafe behavior, spills, physical impact, overloaded outputs, or improper connections. Owner will determine whether repair or replacement is required. Renter agrees to pay the assessed repair/replacement cost within 7 days of written notice. 3) Conduct & Enforcement Renter agrees to handle all gear with care, maintain a clean/safe workspace, keep drinks away from all equipment, follow staff instructions, and ensure guests comply. Owner may stop the session and revoke equipment access without refund if misuse, safety violations, or risky conduct occurs. 4) Assumption of Risk / Limited Liability Renter uses the room and Equipment at their own risk. Owner is not liable for personal injury, loss/damage of personal items, data loss from USBs/laptops/devices, or interruptions caused by user error or misuse. 5) Acceptance Booking a session or using the Equipment constitutes acceptance of this addendum and Junxion Søund’s standard policies.
